A fanlisting is a way of bringing together all the fans of something (at least the fans that are on the Net). The idea of fanlistings was created by
Janine, and is now carried out by a huge staff at
The Fanlistings, of which this site is a part of.
Before becoming a fanlisting, this site was a clique devoted to Buffy.
I've always loved and admired Buffy for her strength and the
love she has for her friends and family, but I've noticed that on the Net, Buffy tends to be bashed more
than I believe she deserves. And while Buffy has made mistakes (because, let's face it, who hasn't?),
she is still a good person and has devoted her life to saving her
family, friends, and the world. Buffy has sacrificed herself - twice - and still continues to
make the hard decisions and work to save others. She is a true hero.
In December 2005, Niki was forced to give up running the fanlisting for Buffy due to time constraints, but she was kind enough to ask me to take over the site for her.
Many many thanks to her for doing such a spectacular job running the fanlisting for the first few years and for trusting me to run the site.
