Sideshow Toy is pleased to announce it’s much anticipated 12" Doll featuring the authentic likeness of Sarah Michelle Gellar as Buffy from the television show Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

The Buffy figure features Sideshow Toy’s maximum articulation female body that allows for unlimited vampire slaying poses. With over 20 points of articulation, this figure has what may be the best pose ability in the industry today. Buffy is dressed in highly detailed clothing, and stands on a stone detailed display base. Accessories include a crossbow, stakes and "Vampyre" book.

Also scheduled for release as companion figures to Buffy are "The Gentlemen" from the critically acclaimed "Hush" episode. Three of the fiendishly floating vampires from the episode have been recreated with incredible accuracy. All figures will include a heart, jar with lid, scalpel and doctor’s bag. The figures will also come with special bases that make them appear to be floating just as they did on the show. Scheduled for release in May 2001, the Buffy the Vampire Slayer figures will be available in mass retail, specialty and toy stores around the country, and can also be purchased on line at www.sideshowtoy.com.
