Help Glenn Quinn Celebrate His Birthday in the Best Way: Support Women's Cancer Research
Glenn Quinn has requested
that all gifts sent in honor of his birthday (and any other occasion) be
directed to his charity of choice, the Revlon/UCLA Women's Cancer Research
Program, where they will do the most good and be tax-deductible.
The Revlon/UCLA Women's
Cancer Research Program is dedicated to research in all women's cancers
(including breast and ovarian cancer). The program's director is Dr. Dennis
Slamon, who first identified the link between a genetic mutation and a
virulent form of breast cancer. This research led to the development of
Herceptin, the first gene-based therapy to be approved by the FDA to treat
metastatic breast cancer (September 1998).
Tribute gifts may be made

gift in accordance with IRS regulations and to notify Glenn of each donation
made in his honor. (The Foundation is not able to provide notification
for gifts of less than $10.)
