It's pre-soundtrack heaven day for us Buffy fans! Not only is the soundtrack now available for pre-order from Amazon and Rounder Records (the company releasing the album), but Rounder has posted clips of EVERY piece of music on the soundtrack on the pre-order page. Be prepared to jump for joy. Remember to pre-order your copy before September 24th! (which, don't forget, is also the date of Buffy's Season 7 premiere!) And let's all say it in unison: ROUNDER RECORDS ROCKS!

Help the band! Velvet Chain's database just went (partially) kablooey. Their system lost all of the e-mails, contact info, orders, and so forth received since April 2002. If you registered around or after then, if you attended a gig at or since CreepCon and sent them an email, or anything like that since that time, please go back to http://www.velvetchain.com and re-register. Thank you!

Couple items today... first, rumor has it that the soundtrack CD for "Once More, with Feeling" will be released on September 24th by Rounder Records. Check out the link here (scroll down a bit to see it). And apparently Joss was confirming this at Comic-Con this past weekend. (Thanks, Dan!)

Speaking of Comic-Con, aint-it-cool-news.com has some fun spoilers spilled by Joss at Comic-Con regarding next season. Those are over here.

Next up... a fairly spoiler-y interview with Joss from TV Guide Online. Interesting tidbits, but annoying remarks on the show from the TV Guide writer. Check it out.

And to finish up, a couple articles from Zap2it.com... first is a lovely interview with Amber Benson. That's right here. And the second is an interview with Alexis Denisof all about his summer hiatus from "Angel". There are a few spoilers in this one.

The Usual
The Usual

Random Quotage:

You won. All right? You came in and you killed them and you took their land. That's what conquering nations do. It's what Caesar did, and he's not going around saying, 'I came, I conquered, I felt really bad about it.' The history of the world isn't people making friends. You had better weapons, and you massacred them. End of story.
