Yup. You've managed to reach the news area of chosentwo.com. Here you can see some of the interesting tidbits of news regarding Buffy and Angel, brought to you by Anna, Kristina, and Little Willow.

Firefly has officially been picked up for next season by Fox. It will be airing Friday nights at 8/7c on Fox. For more info, check out Fox's Fall 2002 schedule over here. They also posted a picture of the cast and you can view that here.

Some writer news... if "Firefly" is picked up for next season, Tim Minear will be leaving "Angel" to run things on "Firefly". He'll still consult on Angel and write/direct a couple episodes, but he won't be nearly as involved as he has been. And on top of that, Steve DeKnight will be writing for Angel next year, instead of BtVS. Lastly, new BtVS writer has been hired, by the name of Drew Goddard.

Couple new articles and photos...

Last week's TV Guide - the one that was mentioned before (with the 50 greatest shows) - also contained a nice little article on Angel, as well as some new photos (though two were VERY small). Typed up the article and posted it over here, along with the photos from the magazine.

The June/July issue of Teen People (with Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman on the cover) had a small and somewhat interesting interview with Alyson Hannigan. Also had a lovely new photo of her. The article and picture can be seen here.

A couple upcoming TV appearances... Sarah Michelle Gellar will be appearing on Rosie O'Donnell on May 15th, along with her Scooby-Doo costars in order to promote the movie (which opens June 14). Alyson Hannigan is reportedly scheduled to appear on the Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn on Monday, May 20th. Eliza Dushku will also be appearing on the Late Late Show to promote her movie, "The New Guy" on Friday, May 10th. For more info on all of these, visit the official sites or tvguide.com.

For those of you wondering about David Boreanaz's lack of appearance on The Daily Show, he missed it because his wife Jaime Bergman was giving birth to their first child, baby boy Jaden Rayne. Congrats to the couple! David has been rescheduled to appear on May 9th on The Daily Show.

Sarah Michelle Gellar will co-hosting this year's MTV Movie Awards with Jack Black. The awards will be taped on June 1 at the Shrine Auditorium on Los Angeles. The broadcast will air Thursday, June 6 on MTV. You can visit the website for the awards right over here.

David Boreanaz is scheduled to be on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart today (Wednesday). The Daily Show airs at 11pm on Comedy Central. Check tvguide.com for repeat air times and more info.

And TV Guide Online had a small, but sweet, interview with Christian Kane (Lindsey on Angel) about his new movie, "Life or Something Like It". Okay, mostly comments about Angelina Jolie, but it's Christian, so read it over here.

Random Quotage:

You won. All right? You came in and you killed them and you took their land. That's what conquering nations do. It's what Caesar did, and he's not going around saying, 'I came, I conquered, I felt really bad about it.' The history of the world isn't people making friends. You had better weapons, and you massacred them. End of story.
